How to Develope Your Customer Persona!

advertising agency OhioRight now you're probably wondering what is a customer persona.  Buyer personas or customer personas are fictional characters created to represent the different user types within a targeted demographic, attitude and/or behavior set that might use a site, brand or product in a similar way.

The term persona is used widely in online and technology applications as well as in advertising. Personas are useful in considering the goals, desires, and limitations of buyers and users in order to help to guide decisions about a service, product or interaction space such as features, interactions, and visual design of a website, media platforms, and content.

Marketers may use a persona where the qualitative persona is constructed to be representative of a specific segment.  This allows advertisers to connect more closely to different customers.

Successful marketers usually develop several personas to represent the varying segments of their customers. 

Developing buyer personas is essential for online marketing programs to work effectively.  This allows the focus to move to what the buyer wants to hear rather than on what the organization or company wants to say.
